Right at Home Staging was recently engaged by a lovely family through our Style to Holiday service, to help reimagine a much-loved, inherited property into a warm and inviting holiday home.
Perfectly positioned in the heart of Merimbula, directly opposite Spencer Park, this four-bedroom, two-bathroom home boasts stunning lakeside views — the ideal base for a luxury Airbnb escape. With the vision and trust of the owners (a dynamic sister-in-law duo), we set out to transform the space into a serene retreat that would shine in Merimbula’s competitive coastal market.
The transformation kicked off with fresh paint and beautiful new window furnishings from Dollar Curtains & Blinds, instantly breathing new life into the interiors. From there, our lead stylist Holly worked through every layer of the fit-out — carefully curating furniture, cosy bedding, ambient lighting, and artwork, including pieces from the incredibly talented local artist Ge Warburton. The brief? To reflect the natural beauty of the area with earthy tones, organic textures, and a timeless, relaxed palette. Every detail was considered with the guest experience in mind, ensuring the home feels both elevated and effortless.
The property’s layout allowed us to maximise key lifestyle features: a sun-drenched lounge perfect for unwinding, a generous balcony with lake views, and peaceful, well-appointed bedrooms designed for holidaymakers.
The result is a home that not only celebrates its stunning surroundings but feels intentionally curated to evoke calm, comfort and a true holiday vibe.
